Miracles

Jeremiah 32:20 “You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt—things still remembered to this day! And you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name famous to this day.”

Pranjal told us of request for prayer from a family who was struggling with a demon possessed family member. This man was healed from the possession and, as a result, his family came to know Christ. In addition, five members (out of seven families) came to know Christ in the Guna Village.

Also, Pranjalʻs aunt was admitted to the hospital because her lung collapsed.  Pranjal asked DMI to pray fervently through prayer and fasting. Three days after they began praying Pranjalʻs aunt received a vision that the infection was leaving her lungs. She fell on floor and when she got up she no longer needed oxygen!

In a land where very few people possess a Bible, let alone, can read, God is faithful to make his presence known through His many miracles.

Discipleship Center

Thanks to three more families, donations have started to come in for Discipleship Center.  In addition, bricks and iron bars have also been donated. DMI is hoping to construct a very simple building with a large meeting hall (that will seat 400 people), which will also include a kitchen and bathrooms. The size of the land is approximately ½ acre. Pranjal estimates about $265,000 as a total cost for the construction of the building.  We are waiting for Pranjal to send us a map of the land so that we can find someone who would be willing to draw up the plans. Pranjalʻs prayer is that more indigenous people will invest in this project.

DMI Farmers Delivering Grain

Priase God as Disciple Makers India farmers recently collected grain and produce, loaded them onto a tractor and distributed them to those affected by Covid 19. This has been another great way of building relationships with the community.  Please continue to pray that God will provide more opportunities for Pranjal and his team of people to bless the nearby communities so that they will be shining examples of Christ to the unbelieving world.

Mansing & The Border Crossing

Mansing and the Border Crossing

The situation in Pranjalʻs city and the surrounding tribal areas is very difficult due to Covid 19.  Like the rest of the world, the crisis had caused major unemployment so people are migrating back to their home towns.  Lack of finances and agression at the borders have caused many to die during their journies. Twenty laborers were caught crossing borders near Pranjalʻs town. Mansing, a DMI leader in one of the tribal villages, called officials on their behalf.  Thankfully, Mansing gained favor with officials and the borders were opened so the twenty laborers were able to go home.

In as much as this crisis has caused major hardship to the majority of the lowered caste of India, God is using it as a way for Disciple Makers India to be a light in their communities.  So we praise God for all that he is doing!

May 10, 2020

Aloha!

Thank you all for your continued financial and prayer support for the Lord’s ministry through Pranjal in Dhar India.

Since Pranjal and Devina arrive in Dhar County (June 2019), the number of Christian families has grown from four to five Christian families to about 250 Christian families!  Praise the Lord!

Through his ministry, and with the Lord’s direction, Pranjal has been able to confront the “Priest-Centered Faith” (e.g. money for prayer and services) predominant in the area and now Christians there are living in the freedom and grace of Christ.   Because of your support Pranjal has been able to minister the Gospel without asking for any funding.  Initially, Pranjal and his DMI team were persecuted for confronting this “Priest-Centered Faith”, but through the Lord’s faithfulness these persecutions stopped.  The Lord granted Pranjal favor by allowing him to develop relationships with local leaders who eventually supported DMI outreaches and events.  Now believers there are participating in Bible studies where they are learning about the true, authentic gospel and are walking in the authority of Christ!

Pranjal has begun implementing a duplication discipleship model where currently 15 Christian leaders have agreed to disciple 5 other Christians.  What multiplication!  Thank you Lord!  Many Christians there hope to build a discipleship center where they can have Bible studies, discipleship training, and a place for missionaries to visit from all around the world.
