Bhilali Bible Translation

The translation of the Bible into the Bhilali language is going slowly.  Pranjal has given the responsibility to four people who are working diligently to get it done. Please pray for this team of people as it will be immensely helpful for evangelism.

Bhilali Bible Translation Needs Continued Prayer

DMI Vision For The Future

DMI Vision For The Future

DMI Vision For The Future

Pranjal continues to press onward toward building a discipleship center that will serve about 20 villages.  He says that it will be a major gathering place for people to hear the name of Jesus, as well as, a place where visitors and missionaries from around the world can come and take part in the ministry. In addition, it will serve as a safe haven for many villagers, as the authorities tend to leave people alone when they are in public buildings.

Pranjal dreams of being able to provide education to the villagers.  He also prays of someday being able to replace Biblical prayer for the cultural traditions and customs of planting.

Community Relationships Are Changing

Typically, when Pranjal would visit village families only the men would participate;. but now the whole family wants to take part.  The villagers have communicated to Pranjal that their families have grown closer as a result of the Bible studies and fellowship.

In addition, disciples have started taking more opportunities to practice their faith. Farmers are now meeting together to pray in the name of Yeshua before planting their crops.  Farmers and their families pray, not only for abundant crops, but also for safety during the sowing season due to snakes and scorpions in the fields.

Recently, Mansing’s wife was bit by a scorpion. There was no doctor so they prayed and over her and God was merciful, as she did not become ill as a result. Mansing continues to be a major leader within his tribe, so please pray for him and his family.

India Has Begun To Reopen

India Has Begun To Reopen

India Has Begun To Reopen

India is now allowing gatherings of no more than ten people; selective hospital services are now available, and people have decent access to food.

Because India has lifted some of the Covid 19 restrictions some people are returning to their cities and going back to work (it is also sowing season for the farmers).  As a result, some of the DMI Bible studies have stopped meeting.  In spite of all the changes, some people have asked Pranjal to meet again because they miss their Bible studies.

Because India has lifted some of the Covid 19 restrictions Pranjal has begun to make some personal visits to village families.  DMI also continues to lead two mobile discipleship groups that meet for about an hour daily.  Pranjal is trying to teach the fellowship good habits and routines as they abide in the Word of God. They are currently studying book of Acts.

Also, if you would, please pray for transportation challenges for Pranjal.  Currently he is using only a moped travel to the outer villages, which can often be over an hour away from his home.
