The Discipleship Team is Growing

Pranjal has encouraged the DMI disciples to gather as much as possible for prayer so he was overjoyed when a group gathered together in the middle of the field (for which they are hoping to build a discipleship building) to pray for the building and for rain.

Recently Mansing (below with raised hand), gathered a team of his own to visit Sultanpur for an outreach. They were welcomed by the local leaders and Mansing was able to share his testimony about how God transformed his life from a poor laborer to a community leader.  They visited several families in the village and prayed with people for healing and protection.  Pranjal is so pleased with Mansingʻs spiritual growth.

Also, please pray for the Bible translation into Bhilali as progress has slowed slowed down a bit. Pranjal plans to press in on this project in August to keep it moving forward. In the meantime, the DMI Bible study had covered fifteen chapters in Genesis and two Chapters in the Book of John. We also ask for your prayers for continued enthusiam and acceptance of the Gospel throughout the villages.

More Healing

Two women blacked out in the household of Mansingʻs mother-in-law (this is also the family of the young girl who ran away, as relayed in a previous update).  Mansing (below with his horse and also with Pranjal) was quickly called and asked to pray for the two woman and, by the grace of God, they were healed.  As a result Bil, the head of the household, accepted Christ and started attending the DMI Bible study group.  Pranjal says that it is a momentous occasion when the leader of a household accepts Christ because the rest of the family is more open to the Gospel.

Strife and Reconciliation

Pranjal conveyed a recent incident where a woman in a non-Christian household mysteriously died.  Members of the household began accusing each other of the cause of her death.  Praise God that a DMI disciple stepped in to mediate the conflict, so began to pray and ask God to reveal the cause of the womanʻs death.  God showed him that the woman fell in her house and had a heart attack.  A second person confirmed that he also received a vision of the same incident.  The family felt at peace about the womanʻs death and this gave the DMI disciple the opportunity to perform foot washing on the family members.  This was a wonderful testimony to the community.

The Promise of Small Business Loans

Because DMI disciples are on fire they are taking responsibility for their families and income.  Last week, a new Cabinet Minister of Business and Industry was installed. He (in the red turbin) invited the DMI team to visit and promised loans for tribal welfare development.  The Cabinet Minister said that he will give र10,000,000 rupee ($13,348.00) interest-free loans to four families to start up a business.  Mansing will determine which tribal families in the congregations will receive the loans.  Please pray for wisdom as Mansing determines who will receive the loans.
